There are two cottages here at Pendeen Lighthouse in a stunning location on the North Cornwall Coast within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The South West Coast Path crosses the granite headland and nearby Argus Cottage.  Pendeen lighthouse is two miles from St Just and six miles north of Land’s End.  Pendeen was established as a lighthouse in 1900, receiving electric lights in 1926 and it’s been automated since 1994.

3. Sally Port Cottage, St Anthony’s Lighthouse Roseland Peninsula

Sally Port Cottage is located at the fabulous Roseland Peninsula’s furthest point and is part of an operational lighthouse.  This is, I think the most stunning lighthouse cottage in Cornwall.  Just take a look at the photos here.

4. Pelorus Cottage, Trevose Lighthouse

Pelorus Cottage is one of the four fabulous cottages found at Trevose Lighthouse. It is located on a foreland that is four miles west of Padstow between Constantine and Harlyn Bays.  Trevose Lighthouse was built in 1847 and started using electricity for lights in 1972 and has been automated since 1995.  While the four Trevose Lighthouse Cottages are all rented as holiday cottages the lighthouse site is not open to the public, so you’ll have a private time here.  The cottages here are sheltered under the headland and about 22 metres above the sea.  The cottages at Trevose lighthouse are accessed by a private one-mile-long road.

Trevose Lighthouse is at the centre of the complex and the semi-detached lighthouse cottages surround it.  These cottages share a parking area and on the side of the sea, there’s a walled grass area which is also shared. You can see more about the cottages here.
